Gourmet on Wheels Coming to Main Street
Saturday, September 10 From 6 - 9 PM


We have assembled a nice selection of food trucks to bring their delectable food items to downtown Oakland Park on Saturday, September 10 from 6 - 9 PM in front of Big Dog Station at the south end of NE 12 Avenue.

Enjoy live music and arts and craft. Come out and sample their wonderful offerings.

Slow Food Truck - Introducing Slow Food inspired culinary creations to the South Florida region and beyond. MMMMMM!!! That's good!!

Latin Burger & Taco - Voted Best Burger in Miami Serving Gastronomic food with a explosion of flavors from a truck.

Moty's Grill - Our menu is simple and is based on healthy, fresh and affordable food. Our famous falafel sandwich is made with fresh baked pita bread filled with crispy, handmade Falafel balls which are made from chickpeas, a vitamin rich legume, filled with proteins, minerals and vitamin B.
The chickpeas are blended daily with fresh spices and vegetables and then fried in Canola oil.

All of our salads and sauces are freshly prepared every day using carefully selected ingredients to assure superior quality and freshness.

We only use Kosher ingredients of the highest quality, and we observe all the rules and practices of Kashrut; however, we are not Kosher certified by any authority.

IT'S OKTOBERFEST TIME!

Pull those Lederhosen out of the closet! Clean out those beer steins! It's time to come out to Oakland Park for our 7th Annual Oktoberfest Celebration. Come join us for two fun filled days of food, music, dancing, Carnival rides, Marktplatz Vendors, and friends.

On Friday, enjoy the music of Euro Express. And be sure to sign up for our Beer Stein Race, Apple Strudel-eating Championship and Musical Chair Polka.  On Saturday the fun will continue with music from the Swinging Bavarians and  Euro Express. On the center stage, also watch the Edelweiss Schuhplattlers dancers and the Auerhahn Schubplatterlers dancers. Cheer on the Dachshunds as they race toward the finish line and sign up to participate in the Beer Barrel Roll and other games. The carnival will be open both days, so bring the entire family!

For those of you interested in participating in the Dachshund Race, please call Central Bark Doggy Day Care at 954-568-3647. This event fills up fast. Last year there were 57 dachshunds competing for the first place prize.

New this year, Oktoberfest offers more FREE PARKING. That's right. We are still offering Premium Parking for $10 at the park, but all other lots are free, and a FREE shuttle will take you to the park, if you don't want to walk.  

Anyone interested in being a vendor in our vendor tent should call 305-215-2739. For $225 you will receive a 10' x 10' space in our tent, a table, two chairs and power. This is an excellent opportunity to get in front of over 8,000 people.
